A true narcissist is completely controlled by his or her narcissism. The narcissist’s defensive mechanism is a powerful and ever-present force. Intended to protect him or her from any blow to the ego. He or she develops a variety of defenses. In short, this is to cope with the unpleasant feelings that a close relationship produces.

Telltale Signs of a Narcissist
Everything revolves around them.
What narcissists love to do the most is they love talking about themselves. A narcissist isn’t listening when you talk to them. They’re waiting to talk about themselves. Anyone can be guilty of this now and then, and that’s ok. but the narcissist will continuously grab the topic and steer it in their favor.
They desire control and authority, as well as the ability to lead.
Narcissistic conduct resembles confidence, it frequently places the narcissist in positions of leadership. But think twice before calling your employer or a member of Congress a narcissist. The leadership and being charismatic are not always characteristics of narcissism. Politicians do not have any more narc traits than anyone else.
They are constantly making bombastic claims.
It’s easy to tell when a grandiose narcissist is speaking. The purpose of narcissistic behavior is to use these comments to attract attention. As a result, gain the trust and admiration of others. The grandiose narcissist believes he or she is entitled.
They deceive you.
Narcissists are prone to cheating since relationship experiences provide them with joy. Cheating provides a sense of self-validation and power to the narcissist.
They will manipulate you until they achieve their objectives.
There are two types of narcissism.

And then there’s the weak, hypersensitive, anxiety-prone narcissist. This type exhibits a lack of confidence and may appear reclusive. Buy they are harboring grandiose dreams and will abuse others’ vulnerabilities.
Both sorts of narcissists have a proclivity for exploiting people through emotional manipulation.

They are continuously arguing with you.
Severe narcissists are always correct all the time. The longer you know a narcissist the stronger their toxicity becomes. He or she stops speaking what they think you want to hear. Then the fights become more regular and intense.
Telltale Signs of a Narcissist Conclusion:
When emotions arise, they change the subject. Grandiose and extroverted narcissists do not want to talk about their feelings. Since it puts them in a vulnerable spot and reduces their power over you. If a narcissist brings up their emotions, they are using them to manipulate you. To get closer to you, they’re making an emotional plea. The emotion they recognize is quite different from how they are feeling.
